The Pier House Resort and Caribbean Spa
Please join us for the 2013 NORML Key West Legal Seminar to be held at the Pier House Resort and Caribbean Spa in Key West, FL on Thursday, December 5; Friday, December 6; and Saturday, December 7.If you are planning on attending the seminar but have not yet registered with NORML, please do that today, so we have you preregistered with a name tag when you arrive in Key West. It assures the conference registration process goes smoothly on site, and it alerts us to apply for CLE approval from your state, in case we have not previously applied.
The NORML Key West legal seminar is an excellent legal seminar with outstanding speakers, and it is fully accredited by all states that require Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for practicing attorneys. In addition, it has become a wonderful opportunity to spend some time in a relaxed setting with old friends, and to make new friends, who share your opposition to marijuana prohibition. Many of our members and supporters look forward each year to this celebration of personal freedom.
The program this year will feature lectures on timely topics such as search and seizure, jury nullification, cross examining a police officer, motions for a new trial, using the Patriot Act for your client, the penalty for going to trial, the ethical implication of Brady, child custody issues for parents who smoke, using Brady to help your client, international extradition and the OFAC list, the latest K-9 decisions, and representing licensed growers and dispensaries in states that have legalized marijuana.
Register now for the seminar.
