The NORML Foundation in conjunction with MassCann/NORML wants to conduct a professional poll in Massachusetts this summer, but they need your help.
The poll is needed by Massachusetts activists to tell them what Bay State voters think about legalization. Only with a poll will they have the knowledge needed to know if a 2011-2012 initiative is viable and what the proposed law by initiative must include to start the process with +60% favorable rating among likely voters.
Without that much support an initiative would be a waste of time and money.
The poll needs to discover likely voters' attitudes about at least these areas:
Should the poll show an initiative not viable or an initiative with such onerous conditions was viable but not one we would wish to pursue, it will aid us in focusing on the areas of concern among likely voters and adjust our message to address those concerns accordingly.
Please note: The actual results of this poll, if conducted will be confidential.
Such polls take about $17,000. MassCann/NORML has pledged $5,000 and has raised $8,000. It doesn't matter how much or how little you send -- every penny counts.
