Dear NORML Supporters in Colorado:
This will be the final reminder that the 2012 NORML Aspen Legal Seminar is scheduled for Thursday, May 31 through Saturday, June 2, 2012 in Aspen, CO. Details of the program and the registration information are available on the NORML website:

For those non-lawyers who may be interested in learning more about some of the legal issues arising regarding the medical use of marijuana, and meeting some of the activist lawyers who specialize in this area of the law, you are invited to join us for this Rocky Mountain weekend. We offer a special reduced registration fee for non-lawyers.
Those who have joined us at previous Aspen legal seminars will be pleased to know that we will once again be holding a benefit dinner on Saturday evening at the lovely home of Chris and Gerry Goldstein, catered by celebrated Aspen chef Chris Lanter from Cache Cache, a popular Aspen restaurant.
The legal seminar will consist of three days of lectures from leading criminal defense attorneys from across the country. The first day will consist of lectures on using evidence of betrayal of trust to move your judge or jury, federal preemption/dual sovereignty, defending paraphernalia and spice (K-2) cases, and dealing with medical marijuana in the workplace.
The second day will feature lectures on using the latest and best science to beat a DUID marijuana prosecution, what every criminal defense attorney should know about 1983 actions, challenging knock and talk searches, and selecting a jury in a marijuana case.
The Saturday program will cover the latest important federal and state court decisions, drug dogs and highway interdiction, Internet research, investigation and computer security, and drug and other specialized court ethical standards.
