Tennessee: Medical Marijuana Measure Introduced

Lawmakers will consider legislation this session to permit the therapeutic use of cannabis by state-qualified patients. House Bill 1385, the Koozer-Kuhn Medical Cannabis Act, would enact statewide legal protections for qualified patients who are authorized by their physician to engage in cannabis therapy. The proposal seeks to establish a network of state-regulated compassion centers to provide cannabis to patients.
