UPDATE: We did it! NORML’s entry is #1 Most Popular! Keep voting to make sure it stays that way.
Intuit Quickbooks is currently running a contest, with the grand prize being a professionally produced ad run during the big game this year. The first round of the contest is public voting and we are pleased to say NORML, after just a few short days, has skyrocketed to the #6 most popular submission.
Together, we the people, are ending America’s war on pot. With the last election and with the recent announcement from the attorney general in Washington DC, we are beautifully positioned to make sure a responsible, adult American citizen is never again arrested for the use of recreational marijuana.
But this doesn’t just happen. Please take a moment of your time to support our campaign to bring the message of legalization to the masses during the most watched TV program of the year.
The voting process is simple. Click the link below and you will be taken to NORML’s entry. Click “Vote for Us” and you’re done (no login, no Facebook connect). Then share with your family and friends via your social media pages. Don’t forget that you can vote once a day. Together we can make marijuana legalization a topic of conversation at every game watching party across the country!
If you vote, we will win.
Now!
Ppl are just delaying what is going to happen sooner or later. The ppl have spoken… Legalize it NOW
This could give me a reason to watch the Superbowl even if the Ravens don’t make it there again.
On my Ipad, the share and vote buttons are cut off at the bottom of Intuit’s vote page for NORML. Don’t know if it’s intentional, just sayin.
Great idea! This could be huge for getting the topic in the public spotlight. Will be voting daily and reminding friends. Hope you have a rockin commercial planned out!
I can’t vote on my s2 either, only part of the site shows up…
Voted!
I believe a NORML ad should run during the Super Bowl.
The website is letting me vote multiple times from the same device, everyone should vote as much as possible.
voted, will continue to do so until link expires
Voted. This is would, without a doubt, be a pivotal perspective shift if the issue was able to be conveyed to an audience the size of which participates in the super bowl event. Please reach out to trusted friends and/or family to raise their voices.
Long suffering from chronic serious pain, although it’s not cancer. I can’t even get marinol. We need it legalized in all the states. Money is better spent on serious crime and worse drugs. I don’t want to take prescriptions constantly and be pain management for prescriptions that have more side effects than are worth the little relief I get. Legalize it now please
Margaret
If the zoom on the screen is 200% or more it will cut off half the page. Go NORML
This is big, really big.
Bless you, NORML, and those like you for fighting for our right!
I don’t know how that would go over really, but it would probably help. We truly need a system which makes better sense. It makes much better sense, to legalize and get it done with. Even if it means in small quantities only. I don’t start any kind of trouble, and only care about the getting high part. I believe it’s that way for the majority of people who smoke pot. We don’t wanna start trouble, we just wanna chill out. I gag on the cotton mouth for awhile, until I get use to it, and then just mellow out.
It’s time to legalize… 75 years is Way too long.
And God said,Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth;and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind;and God saw that it was good. How do you argue that ……??
Its number one now.
Would the networks allow it to run?
Would their other major sponsors threaten to pull ads if they didn’t? Their number one advertiser is Anheuser-Busch. I don’t imagine GM and Ford would care all that much. Yum Foods who owns Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, and many more, would likely encourage it. 🙂 I am unsure what side Coke and Pepsi might take.
Remember the “powers that be” made them take down that Marijuana billboard outside the Brickyard 400 NASCAR race.
Sweet!!
Gona vote everyday… at 4:20
How can you see who is winning?
Go here: https://www.smallbusinessbiggame.com/
Then scroll down and click to sort by “most popular” – as of Monday at 11pm, we’re #1!
Agreed, I voted about 30 times, just close the window, click the link again, then vote again, there seems to be nothing stopping repetitive votes so computer nerds, converge, and dominate that poll, NORML & Marijuana goin to the superbowl!!!! Seriously, everyone, the Superbowl. This is epic, please, donate to Norml if you can, educate people on the benefits of cannabis and spread the good word if you can’t, or do both if you really want this. Alone, we are nothing, together, WE ARE EVERYTHING!!!
And pardon my mistake, but it is widely agreed that we should say cannabis instead of marijuana in the public domain, so Cannabis goin to the superbowl
Hey all you fellow tokers,
Hope you and yours are well.
It just keeps getting better and better. Day by day.The politician’s are all looking at how much needed revenue will start flowing in from taxing cannabis. Who do we have working for us?; for over 40 years, fighting in the trenches, you got it, NORML. NORML is as usual on the front line. Help NORML! help us is basically how it works isn’t it. Money talks, louder and louder for the end of Prohibition of Cannabis the most intriguing Miraculous herb on earth. I would like to find out how much it is going to cost to get say an ounce. I remember back in the day, I would buy a 1/4 lb. for $45.00 every week, sell three oz.for $15 or $20 and have an oz. left for personal. I don’t expect it to go down to those prices, but it would be nice to see the price go down a little. The price is getting a little ridiculous.
Just voted. GO NORML!
I really wish NORML would win this.. but had a look at the rules and seems they protected themselves from letting organizations they might not like go through to the final: In the 3rd round Intuit employees will be voting for 4 finalists from 20 selected by voters.
Let’s hope there is a strong bunch of stoners at Intuit.. 😉
@Scott Gross – I had the same issue with my iPad but was able to access the voting button by simply turning it so that the page displayed with the longest side running from top to bottom instead of from left to right…
Just DO It. It CAN and WILL and in some states IS helping so many deserving people. Everyone should have safe access to this plant. In God We Trust, right?
@Miles – That worked. Thanks.
I would vote every single day multiple times throughout the day….but the site won’t let me vote, not even once. These damn prohibitionist must have something to do with it.

*ahem*
I tested it,
and it seems to allow multiples if cookies are cleared in between…
*whistling as I stroll casually away…*
I have been voting every day for Norml to win the Super Bowl ad but am now not able to get to their page to vote for some reason. Regardless of which link I click or enter, it always goes only to Intuit’s Entry Page. WHY?
I keep voting nonstop. We got this NORML!!!
Thanks Norml, for giving me a chance to vote. This is your brain on football; really you could not pay me money to watch a ballgame on TV.
I’m trying to vote but I can find where to. It takes me to a blank page when I clicked ” click here to vote”. I’m using a phone so that might be the problem
Wouldnt the FDA/DEA put pressure on the FCC to pull the commercial considering that its a schedule 1 substance still?
I’m voting a lot but I don’t believe the NFL is going to allow this. What say you lawyers?
I know others have posted this but maybe if it seen enough it will get fixed i dont have a computer to use and cant vote on my phone. Please fix. Im 56 and would love to see this in my life time.
Will not let me vote. can only see the top of the page.
Voted. Keep up the good work!
Just voted 🙂 if your using a iPad turn it and you can vote
Voted!! This could be the one commercial that changes our country’s overall opinion of Marijuana. SHARE SHARE SHARE
Voting every day!
If you’re one of the 20 semi-finalists, you’ll be notified by email. Then, over 8,000 Intuit employees will be given the opportunity to review each of the 20 semi-finalists. The employee vote will decide the final four businesses.
The fine print:

Was thinking that under fedral, law any fedral banking that doing buissness with any pot med store is a crime. So under rico act there is no limit in prisacution so if needs be figure out how to apply such conitions to help push legalization fedral only way to make it legal. Jus a thought.
