While there would be no possibility of jail time under the bill, these offenses would still be classified as misdemeanors.
Assembly Bill 341 allows adults 21 and older to purchase and consume adult-use cannabis products on-site at any licensed “cannabis consumption lounge.”

Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak has signed legislation into law easing marijuana possession penalties for minors and amending the state’s per se driving limits for THC.
The measure makes numerous changes to the state’s medical program — several of which may hamper patients’ access to medical cannabis products.
“Several states, like Nevada and New York, have moved in this direction — as have numerous cities, like Atlanta and Philadelphia — and it is no surprise to see major employers moving in this same, common-sense direction.”
The measure now heads to the desk of Democratic Governor John Bel Edwards.
The bill seeks to increase diversity in the marijuana industry by awarding new dispensary licenses.
