A history of cannabis use “was not significantly associated with acute myocardial infarction, stroke, [or other] adverse cardiovascular events,” investigators concluded.
“This study provides preliminary evidence regarding the therapeutic potential of CBD in the context of e-cigarette use cessation,” authors determined.
Researchers found little data to substantiate fears that young people are more susceptible to “adverse physical or mental health outcomes” following the use of concentrated THC products.
