I chose to work for NORML this spring because I believe that the destigmatization and legalization of cannabis is crucial to creating a more just, equitable, knowledgeable, and free society.
“Assisting and working toward legalization nationally will allow me not only to learn about the failed federal experiment with cannabis, but also inform me on ways to better educate constituents on how they can take action to change these policies in their own communities.”
“As a cannabis consumer, marijuana has changed my life for the better. … There is nothing that I want to do more than be part of an organization that supports initiatives that advocate on behalf of freedoms for cannabis consumers.”
“Marijuana law reform brings together important conversations over decarceration, racial equity, public health, and informed consumption. As long as NORML remains a leader of this public discussion, I intend to stay involved.”
