Members of a legislative conference committee approved and advanced a negotiated version of Senate Bill 56, which makes numerous changes to the state’s voter-approved adult-use marijuana legalization law.

By contrast, 85% of Democrats support legalization – a near all-time high, as do 66% of Independents.
Consistent with findings from other jurisdictions, most unregulated hemp products tested positive for levels of THC exceeding current federal guidelines.
