“We have never seen such dramatic decreases in drug use among teens in just a one-year period,” said Nora Volkow, Director of the US National Institute on Drug Abuse, which funded the study.
Based on the study’s findings, investigators concluded, “Using lower doses of CBD and trace THC seems to be promising in managing behavioral problems associated with autism.”
A supermajority of US physicians say that cannabis is medicinal, and over one-quarter have recommended it to their patients.

“Our data suggest that whole-plant medical cannabis products are superior to isolated CBD products in the patients examined,” investigators reported.
Refusing to hear this case only prolongs the conflicts that currently exist between state laws and federal marijuana laws, NORML’s brief argues.
Scientists concluded, “Our novel findings support the possible therapeutic role of inhaled CBD as an effective, relatively safe, and easy to administer treatment adjunct for GBM.”
