Study: Adults With Local Access to Cannabis Retailers Are Less Likely To Engage in Heavy Alcohol Use
“A relative reduction in older and young adults’ high-risk drinking may be a net positive effect of shifting cannabis policies,” researchers reported.
“This study provides evidence that, in a relatively short 4-year period spanning the cannabis pre-legalization to post-legalization time periods, adolescent cannabis use has declined.”
