Since 1992, every Thursday and when breaking news warrants, NORML | The NORML Foundation have been issuing weekly press releases for marijuana law supporters and the media.
NORML’s News Releases archives goes back to 1996 and serves as a valuable tool to alert citizens about cannabis-related news and legislation as well as a research tool for reviewing a chronology of marijuana law reform.
Among those respondents who had never used either cannabis or CBD products, approximately 50 percent said that they would do so if marijuana was legal.
The suit seeks to nullify laws in the cities of Austin, San Marcos, Killeen, Elgin, and Denton.
Those who tested positive for cannabis possessed a lower risk of accident (OR = .80) than controls.
Use of all three cannabis varieties was associated with improvements in anxiety symptoms.
“Majority support exists for marijuana legalization, driven by Democratic and younger voters, as well younger independents and a majority of younger Republicans,” pollsters concluded.
More than 70 percent of CBD consumers said that it helped mitigate their symptoms and 39 percent acknowledged having “discontinued a prescription medication in favor of CBD.”
“The legalization of nonmedical cannabis for adults … might have affected availability of cannabis to younger persons as well as their opportunities to engage in its use.”
