Officials say that the new policy is the first step in what they anticipate will be further reforms loosening the nation’s marijuana laws.

Authors concluded, “A history of monthly cannabis use for more than one year was not independently associated with either increased blood pressure or prevalent hypertension.”

By contrast, Board members failed to include autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder among the list of qualifying conditions for which doctors may recommend medical marijuana.
“Few products had measured CBD concentrations within 10 percent of advertised concentrations, with most falling below advertised concentrations,” the study’s authors concluded.
