For more than a year, members of Denver NORML have advocated for the social consumption of marijuana in Colorado. In Denver, city officials were able to publish draft rules for I-300, but SB-184, a statewide effort to regulate social consumption died in committee.
Frustrated with the lack of information regarding the home cultivation of marijuana in Colorado, members of Denver NORML have organized the Grow Safety Symposium; a one day event aimed at educating marijuana growers about safe and sustainable cultivation practices.
If passed, the Responsible Use Denver initiative will create a licensing and permitting process that will allow responsible marijuana consumers to gather and socially consumer marijuana.
