NORML Chapters around the country are busy registering voters and mobilizing supporters of marijuana law reforms in advance of this November’s election, especially in states like Missouri, Michigan, North Dakota and Utah where voters will have a chance to vote on medical or adult-use marijuana initiatives.
After serving more than two decades in prison for possessing marijuana, Jeff Mizanskey, an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force, is eligible to vote again! Now, with Amendment 2, the medical marijuana initiative endorsed by NORML appearing on Missouri’s statewide ballot this November, he’s urging supporters across the state to make sure they’re registered to vote. October 10th is the deadline so please make sure you register to vote today!
