Cannabis reform advocates in Arkansas, Nebraska, and North Dakota have turned in signatures to place citizens’-initiated measures on the 2024 ballot.

If passed, Ohio will be the 24th state to legalize the adult-use marijuana market, and the 14th do so by a public vote.

A statewide poll of likely voters reported strong support for adult-use legalization among Democrats (79 percent) and Independents (61 percent), but far less support among Republicans (40 percent).
