Republican-backed legislative efforts to impose arbitrary THC potency caps on certain cannabis products are likely dead for the session.
Investigators concluded, “High potency cannabis use, measured as THC concentration in cannabis and high potency cannabis preference, was not associated with increased symptoms of psychosis.”
Imposing such a blanket ban on higher-potency products will not eliminate demand for these products, but it will succeed in driving this market underground — making it unregulated and unsafe.
