New Hampshire: House Lawmakers Approve Bill Allowing Personal Possession of Marijuana

The measure legalizes the possession of up to 3/4 of an ounce of marijuana by those age 21 or older. It also allows for adults to home cultivate up to three mature marijuana pants and/or to possess up to five grams of hashish, and up to 300mg of cannabis-infused products.

New Hampshire: Home Cultivation Legislation Advances

Under the proposed measure, patients registered with the state’s medical cannabis access program would be permitted to grow up to three mature cannabis plants at home. Currently, qualified patients are only permitted to obtain medical cannabis from a limited number of state-licensed dispensaries.

New Hampshire: Governor Signs Marijuana Annulment Measure

Republican Gov. Chris Sununu has signed legislation into law establishing procedures permitting those with prior, low-level marijuana convictions to petition the court to have their convictions annulled. The new law takes effect on January 1, 2020.

New Hampshire: Lawmakers Advance Legislation Permitting Patients to Home Cultivate

Members of the House and Senate have approved versions of House Bill 364, which allows qualified patients the option to grow marijuana at home. Members of both chambers must now finalize the language in conference committee before sending the bill to Republican Gov. Chris Sununu.
