North Dakotans will join voters in several other states who will also be deciding on marijuana legalization proposals this election.
Statewide polling finds that 67 percent of Texans, including majorities of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, support legalizing the sale and use of marijuana.
Advocates in four more states – Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and North Dakota – have recently submitted signatures to election officials to place legalization proposals on the 2022 ballot.
Overall, voters decided on 38 measures in 36 cities or counties.
According to recent polling, 66 percent of Arizonans said that they would "definitely" or "probably" vote ‘yes’ on the ballot initiative.
