New York, NY: NORML is proud to partner with High Times Magazine and the cast of the critically acclaimed off-Broadway stage performance the Marijuana-Logues for a one of a kind benefit fundraiser in New York City on Tuesday, August 17.
All proceeds from the August 17 performance of The Marijuana-Logues will go directly to fund NORML’s marijuana law reform efforts. General admission tickets for the NORML benefit show are $50, which is $5 off the box office price. In addition, there are also a special number of VIS (Very Important Smoker) tickets available for $200. VIS tickets include admission to the show, followed by a gourmet dinner (location TBA) with members of the High Times and NORML staff, including NORML founder and executive director Keith Stroup.
The Marijuana-Logues is a light-hearted, three-man performance highlighting various aspects of cannabis culture. Newsday raves that the show is “consistently funny,” and the New York Press calls the Marijuana-Logues “a rare example of hipster comedy that truly gets the last laugh.” The Associated Press says the Marijuana-Logues is “slightly subversive and irresistibly funny. [T]his talented and complementary trio breathes new life into pot humor.”
