I do so hope the people of our nation realize that Bernie Sanders is absolutely the best choice we have for POTUS. Hilary and Trump are both nightmares.
I want cannabis removed from the Schedule altogether.
I want Obama and Trudeau to form an Anglo-American alliance with the UK to invite other countries to join them in demanding the UN basically get the hell out of the way of legalization to pave the road to amend any international treaties preventing legalization. Period.
I want Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to tolerate and allow Amsterdam-style coffeeshops in the hip and trendy downtown area(s) using the Keurmerk like Nol van Schaik is using in Haarlem, Netherlands. Cops leave everybody with the Keurmerk alone.

Like in Amsterdam, I want to be able to ask a cop where the closest coffeeshop to buy some weed is at without being arrested, and have them give that information to tourists with a smile and courteous tone.

Sounds like schedule II getting out of the NIDA catch-22 is getting closer to a Congressional reality… Sanders has to break a record in Florida if we get to deschedule anytime soon. I wouldn’t mind seeing some bipartisan work between Booker and Rand Paul again, but were going to have to get Cruz off of his flip-flopping soap box and stop ubstructing the reduction of mandatory minimums.
We can’t draw enough attention to the catch-22 hypocrisies of marijuana in schedule 1. From NIDA preventing research to the Department of Health and Human Services patent on canabinoids as neuroprotectants #6630507, veterans and even Congressman getting high, there are so many examples, but there is one more that I don’t think Sanders expressed clearly in last night’s debate in Miami;
The refugee children from US toppled Democracies in Honduras and Guatemala that Hillary rejected and Bernie embraced are Drug War Refugees… The CIA, Food Inc, US AID and US presidents took Latin Democracies out of power, that much Bernie clarified and I believe won the latin vote during that speech… But why not finish by saying these countries including El Salvador have been tyrannicaly kept down by US drug policy?! I dearly hope this is brought up in the international UNGASS meeting in April… The hypocrisy is unbearable.

We should ask Bernie to use govt money to retrain $igarette manufacturing workers and tobacco farmers into safe decent middle class jobs doing something positive for the planet. The aforesaid war industry will thereafter dissolve away like an exhalatum of sativa vapor into the air.
I’ve been saying it for a decade, the Federal Government/DEA is in a symbiotic relationship with the Cartels. It’s all about protecting their jobs and creating truly “Big Government” with all that fertilizer tax money.
There is no stopping legalization, but just like the tobacco industry, the war on cannabis industry will extend it a far as possible. They’re not about to let go of the tax teat, and they’ll hold on any way they can.

How long will it take for the rest of the Federal Government to realize that this is a Medical Choice for a better way of life for many people and should be every Americans choice as to how they want to live with their Illness and cope with there free choices to be treated. Thank God for these two. I have severe sciatica and medical marijuana has amazingly good results in very small doses for me. With out it the pain is deliberating. Problem is my state says any trace amounts in the system is a DUI even with out signs of impairment. So while I possess a card for medical marijuana I cannot legally drive for days after using it. This makes it impossible for me to get relief from the pain. As a retired law enforcement officer I would never drive impaired! The laws on this in my state are ridiculous. Guilty until proven innocent!!
Please increase awareness of this as a valuable medicine.
Removal from the schedule and complete legalization of cannabis will continue the streak of rational discourse with accompanied standards, legislation, and perspectives for safe access and honest interactions.
As a therapist for people with Traumatic Brain Injuries, it sickens me that cannabis is even on the schedule. If it weren’t for DEA, we would have LESS drug crime, and LESS gun violence! Didn’t anyone learn anything from prohibition of alcohol?
Well it didn’t f’-ing work now did it! Plus, cannabis is soooo the other side of the poison that is alcohol! Our ancestors have been using it to cure illness for thousands of years. Just stop all of this ignorant posturing, and let the sick have what can help them without having to pay, pay, pay!!!!!
