In a joint press release, the Treasury Department and the IRS said that they “expect DOJ’s action to have significant positive tax consequences for businesses in the medical marijuana industry.”
“Hemp-derived CBD has made a HUGE difference for so many people,” the President stated in a social media post.

“Under matched puffing conditions, vaporization of cannabis flower reduced exposure to these harmful compounds by up to 99 percent compared with joint smoke,” researchers concluded.

“Across product types, there were differences between labeled and lab-tested THC concentrations, with a pattern that packages reported higher THC levels than were found in products,” investigators concluded.
Governor Reeves opined that the measures would “erode safeguards” and would “extend the ‘right to try medical cannabis’ to every person on the planet.”
“Passage of these amendments will result in a return to racially discriminatory marijuana arrests across Virginia, while also compromising public safety by continuing to drive consumers to the unregulated market for at least another year.”
