It is time for Gov. Carney to acknowledge and support the majority of Delawareans who back cannabis legalization in the First State.
The millions of Americans who rely upon medical cannabis products ought to be afforded the same entitlements as those who use other conventional medications and therapies.
Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) and Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), along with 15 other co-sponsors, have reintroduced the Veterans Equal Access Act, or H.R. 2431.

“Illicit marijuana providers don’t ask for or check for ID, but licensed businesses most certainly do.”
“Our sense of justice and our principles of fairness demand that public officials and the courts move swiftly to right the past wrongs of cannabis prohibition and criminalization.”
Differences in the two bills’ language will likely need to be addressed in a conference committee before being advanced to the Governor’s desk.
“For years, Kentuckians have been calling for medical cannabis legalization and now they will have the freedom to safely access regulated, therapeutic products right here at home,” said Matthew Bratcher, Executive Director of Kentucky NORML.
