Ways to Give

Since 1970, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) has been the premiere non-profit organization that represents the interests of cannabis consumers.

Citizens like you who care about personal freedom, self-preservation and basic civil liberties are the primary supporters and lifeblood of NORML. NORML exists to serve you and your like-minded friends, family members and co-workers.

Your donation or annual membership supports the national offices’ functions in Washington, DC (three blocks from the White House) such as local, state and federal lobbying; litigation, legal support and attorney referral services for the hundreds of thousands of victims of cannabis prohibition annually; publishing popular webpages, blogs and other digital content; sending weekly press releases, legislative alerts and analysis (every week since 1993); convening conferences, legal seminars, press conferences and large public protests; researching and maintaining a huge archive of cannabis-related information; publishing the most up-to-date information regarding state & federal laws, medical cannabis, health effects of cannabis use and drug testing; and maintaining a network of local chapters and criminal defense attorneys.

Tax-deductible gifts can be made to The NORML Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit and sister organization to NORML, established in 1997 to better educate the public about marijuana and marijuana policy options, and to assist victims of the current laws.

NORML’s independence and credibility is established not by big grants from millionaires, celebrities or from other charitable organizations–it all comes from individuals like you who both care about NORML’s important work and share some financial resources as a supporting member of NORML.

Thank you for renewing your support today for NORML’s cannabis law reform efforts!
