  1. Mr. Stroup is dead on as usual. Why do so many have a hard time with this and other freedom issues?
Like those ‘god hates fags’ a-holes. They are as low a lifeform as I have ever seen, yet they have EVERY right to say those horrible things. You can’t take away anyone’s rights and still say we are free! Or the New York mosque. We are not the Christian States of America and Muslims are every bit as protected as any other religion (or lack thereof, athiests have rights too, they are social pariahs like potheads).
I keep saying it, it’s not about getting high. It’s about freedom and our inalienable rights over our property and our bodies.~

  2. TO ALL:
Our government is not fit to rule itself, let alone lead our society. It’s time for We the People to do something honorable for our country. We can no longer reap the rewards of our soul by doing nothing. Doing nothing will get us exactly that – nothing!

  3. The Right Wing, nanny state haters, conservatives of Georgia are all aobut privacy. Of course, they want your unrine, spit, search your car, you and any other thing they can think of.

  4. The American public has chosen to express their distain and contempt towards government’s audacity to completely ignore the will of the people. Despite our best efforts – is this because we haven’t asked enough, expected enough, or demanded enough from it. It only leaves the question – “What has our government come to?” It only leaves the answer – “Something we love dearly has gone astray.” Personally – I refuse to recognize any government that is willing to trade its Constitution for its hidden agenda. To be sure – government has lost all integrity – which wholly reflects on the American people. All Americans will suffer this breach of trust.
Are we going to relinquish “all or any” of our liberties to this government’s encroachment of our Constitution – perpetrated by special interests. Should we become victims of tyrants who usurp their power over our Constitution – or – should we cooperate with evil? Government is so tainted, so corrupt, they disgrace We the People, and our great country. Shouldn’t we have immunity against these tyrants who’s intent it is to enforce an “unjust and inhumane law” to profit by their ill gotten gains – or – should we become cats and defeat their attempts to heard us. For me, as a Genesist, there is no choice.

  5. When more power is placed into the hands of those who do not possess the wisdom to know when enough is enough, they find themselves fighting against certain primal and harmless natures.. Arguably, like our natural inclination to get fucked up.. most humans if given the Liberty of choice, would choose the safest & most therapeutic of all natural non-toxic mind altering substances, Cannabais Sativa.
We deserve every ounce of privacy in regard to personal decisions such as what substances responsible adults decide to place into their own bodies, as people ALSO need to take responsibility for ALL of their actions! Being high is of coarse not an excuse for murder, homelessness, vagrancy, laziness, stupidity etc. People must learn to make all of their decisions the hard way without taking shortcuts in life. I’m talking about people naturally being forced through ending the governments legislating of morality, to rediscover and develop en masse their empirical based systems for gathering knowledge! Trial and Error! Freedom! Experience! Allow us the honor of becoming the freest and most RESPONSIBLE nation of individuals in history!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    LEGALIZE FREEDOM

  6. Without a doubt, the US of A has totally lost it’s way. When the government gives all of it’s support to the police, and no support to it’s citizens. The fact that citizens are jailed for smoking cannabis, based on laws that have no scientific proof of any harm,is absolutely Mid-Evil.Continuing to jail non violent people,or knock down people’s doors,or kill innocent’s in the name of these laws is just down right injustice.

  7. I took some time to do a google search on various keywords such as, “nanny states”(nannyism), “parental socialism”, “collective good”, and “panoptic society”, in which conclude a ridiculous statement that would provide a pure, appropriate, and control environment for American citizens who must fear or suffer the consequences: “privacy is a gateway to more wicked and naughty things”.
Show that you have nothing wicked to hide or else the S.W.A.T. team will bash down your door with automatic weapons. Just hope that the team are not led by a “killer cop”.
    This is not a joke.

  8. Because Ron Paul is older, I would like to see him as president and have Gary Johnson as vice-president. That would mean the possibility of the best 16 years in American history.

  9. I lived in Alaska for a long time and have come to respect the mindset of its population. While it is a heavy red state in which most people do condemn drug use they rarely agree that police/force should be used in its condemning. Police are normally supportive of this policy (at least privately) and I have known people who have been stopped with small amounts and, after making sure the driver wasn’t high, asked to dump at the side of the road. The one time I was present, after going through the terror we all experience the first time we face legal trouble, the driver was told simply to “keep his nose clean”. The first bowl out of that bag was the best I have ever smoked.
Now understand this is more rural Alaska my understanding is Anchorage along with the native reservations (which are crippled with poverty leading to drug and alcohol fueled violence which politicians have responded with hard line laws such as outright alcohol prohibition and hire police who are just as hardline as the laws) are not so lenient.

  10. we need more help in Maryland,, the law here is really dumb…you still get locked up, have to get a layer..bla bla blay it …..this is BS…..we should at least be able to get a state card for med. mj and still

  11. I live under the auspices of Governor Rick Perry and two Conservative Republican Senators.
All three are in agreement about Cannabis. Woe to thee if you are caught consuming even in the privacy of your home.
It seems that they consider Cannabis consumption a ‘terrorist activity’? I could be wrong.

  12. 19. Naga Sadhu.
The only terrorists around here are the jack-booted killer robots in the DEA.

  13. Prohibitionists are alive and well in Florida. What? they don’t have re-call petitions in Florida.

  14. “If you believe in God, and God’s Sacrament [the green herb], you have, by personal choice, and individual declaration, the distinction of being a Genesist.”
Genesists are well defined and unmistakable. From sea to shining sea, each and every county in each and every sovereign state of these United States of America is a “Genesist colony [3,141 colonies],” and bears the name of that county. This includes our brethren throughout the world. The Genesist Faith transcends all boundaries. We are children of the world, and not so minute in the vast flow of life. It’s a small world after all, and Friends find each other.
    “A family carries each other.”
Genesists carry their brethren spiritually and emotionally. We are a family of believers and we stand as one continually. We are a three strand rope which is not easily broken. In a legal, moral, and Constitutional sense – we are a “Distinctive Faith” as old as time itself. We are from “all monotheistic religions” [Protestants, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, and any Ism]. We fervently believe in “The Sixth Day” – the day of our creation, and the day we received our Sacrament from God – and – “What God has given us – let no man put us under.” To this, there can be no argument.

  15. Texas republicans always have a sinister plan to keep their politicians in power.
That is why there is a need to weed out the bad guys in the primaries. Unfortunately it has to be either republican or democrat parties.
I never vote a straight party ticket because the political party are never true to their philosophy.

  16. Crazy idea: Could someone potentially argue in favor of their medical defense through the 2nd amendment (right to bear arms, marijuana as the weapon, disease/illness being the invading threat) “facilitating a natural right of self-defense”?

  17. There’s absolutely nothing illegal about being an atheist – pot on the other hand has no legality. Whatever the case may be – the fact of the matter is – you like it – you’ve got it – you’ll smoke it.
    Good CDXX Communion.

  18. It seems to me the Federal government has consistently thwarted attempts to explore the medical potentials of cannabis. This includes its ability to retard or shrink tumor formation.
As I understand it, attempts to defend the use of cannabis as “liberty and the pursuit of happiness” have failed. Now we should try “life”.
My dad died of cancer. Do they really expect me to kill myself in slow motion.

  19. GOD. Wasn’t that the guy that drowned all those people in that big flood awhile back?
    What an asshole!

  20. 30. Galileo Galilei.
If ya got to blame someone for being an asshole – God’s your guy. Now – in all fairness – you must seek the answer as to why he did some house cleaning. At any rate that’s your opinion – and – opinions are like assholes – everyone has got one – and – they all stink.
