According to the survey results, some 70 percent of respondents back Initiative Measure 26 — which establishes a medical cannabis access program — and some 60 percent of voters support Constitutional Amendment A, which legalizes the adult-use marijuana market.

A proposed measure legalizing and regulating the adult use and retail sale of marijuana in South Dakota has qualified for the 2020 ballot.
Nearly nine out of ten Floridians support legalizing the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes, and a majority support allowing adults to possess small quantities of the plant for any purpose, according to the results of a statewide Quinnipiac University poll of registered voters.
The Florida Division of Elections today confirmed that proponents of a 2014 statewide measure to allow for the physician-supervised use of cannabis have gathered sufficient signatures to qualify for the November ballot. Proponents of the measure still await a ruling from the Florida Supreme Court as to whether the measure will appear before voters. The state Supreme Court must decide on the issue by April 1.
Efforts are currently underway to put marijuana legalization on the ballot in Missouri next year.…
