Florida-based prohibitionist have vowed to spend $10 million dollars in the next five months to defeat a medical marijuana initiative that will be on the November 8th ballot. In response, Central Florida NORML has launched a summer crowdfunding campaign to to combat the prohibitionists who continue to advocate for the failed War on Drugs.
If passed, the Responsible Use Denver initiative will create a licensing and permitting process that will allow responsible marijuana consumers to gather and socially consumer marijuana.

Congress voted for the first time to expand medical cannabis access to military veterans, and Governors in numerous states signed cannabis legalization and depenalization measures into law. Members of the US House of Representatives voted today for the first time to expand military veterans’ access to medicinal cannabis in states that allow it. Members of the US Senate Appropriations Committee previously voted in April in favor of a similar provision. The House and Senate versions of FY 2017 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations bill will now face a concurrence vote prior to being sent to the President.
