Florida-based prohibitionist have vowed to spend $10 million dollars in the next five months to defeat a medical marijuana initiative that will be on the November 8th ballot. In response, Central Florida NORML has launched a summer crowdfunding campaign to to combat the prohibitionists who continue to advocate for the failed War on Drugs.
Those same oppressive forces who dedicated their lives to arresting and jailing marijuana smokers were unwittingly establishing an underground culture that would nurture us during the most difficult years, and help us find a black-market supply of marijuana all during the decades of prohibition.
If passed, the Responsible Use Denver initiative will create a licensing and permitting process that will allow responsible marijuana consumers to gather and socially consumer marijuana.
